Corporate Brands
Brand design work done for Tomy International and Marks. Brands include Pokémon, Sonic the Hedgehog, Nintendo, Warp Star, Sanrio, Funimation, Thomas Big Loader, Sing 2 (Illumination/NBCU), Stink Bomz & Adorbs, Tippy Toes & Food Club re-designs.
This work included overall brand design, development and integrity, logo design, structural & graphic packaging design & renders, production file layout and advertising collateral for digital and print. I did this work mainly in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign and some Keyshot. I coordinated with vendors to get the packaging produced for retailers, as well as arrange for other physical advertising needs. I was also the lead art director and organizer of lifestyle and product photography. I coordinated with an outside photo studio for lifestyle photoshoots, packaging & product photography I shot in house, all photo editing was done myself.

As a lifelong Pokémon fan, the goal was to create a clean, exclusive collectors edition that fans would want to buy and keep to celebrate the fans and 20 years of Pokémon.
Patterns implemented into retail product design
As a lifelong Pokémon fan, the goal was to create a clean, exclusive collectors edition that fans would want to buy and keep to celebrate the fans and 20 years of Pokémon.
This was a rebrand and age-up of the Sonic toy line to better reflect the core fanbase which are older teens and young adults. This look harks back to the retro sonic days of the early 90s to create a more exclusive collectors feel.
Sonic's 25th Anniversary fell in the same year as the Pokémon 20th anniversary, so it was a huge year of celebration for loyal video game fans. A small subsection of the retro Sonic brand was created in silver with a special finish and logo to give the fans something exciting to chase.
